Dr. Zachary Kano is a highly trained endodontist dedicated to diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the inner structures of the teeth. His advanced education includes a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Endodontics from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and a Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through Boston University and Boston Medical Center. He completed a General Practice Residency at the State University of New York, Kings County Hospital, building a strong clinical foundation across a broad range of dental procedures. Dr. Kano earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University and continues to contribute to the field as a clinical instructor at Boston University and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He also serves as president of the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists, highlighting his leadership and ongoing commitment to excellence in specialty care.
Fantastic experience - I recently had a fantastic experience at Longwood Dental Group and Dr Kano. He explained every step of the procedure and calm me down. I would highly recommend Dr Kano to anyone in need of a root canal, he is absolutely the best.
I have had a number of root canals done by other doctors, but the best one was the one Dr Kano had done for me. It was a very pleasant and painless appointment from beginning to end. I never really understood the process cause it was never clearly explained to me in the past. Dr. Kano was very patient in going over and explaining what a root canal is. He is very professional and would put you at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Kano if ever you need a root canal.
Painless root canal!! - I had never had a root canal, and have had previous dentists « under-novicaine » me, so I fear the drill. Dr. Kano was gentle, patient, and affirming. When I felt anything, he gave me more novicaine, so the procedure was essentially painless. Should I ever need another root canal, it will be with Dr. Kano!
I had my first ever Root Canal procedure which was a bit unsettling to consider, however the Doctor was phenomenal! I didn't feel A THING! Even the numbing which is the worst part! Dr. Kano was extremely knowledgeable, gentle and had an amazing bedside manner which is so important! I truly felt I was in the best hands during this experience.
